
Ronald J. Stansbury, 77, passed away on January 11, 2016 at Hickory Creek in Greencastle, IN from complications of Alzheimer’s. Formally of Indianapolis, he retired to Greencastle in 2000. He worked most of his life for Eli Lilly and Co. and Sears. He was a mason in good standing for 52 years, served in the military, and also taught karate at the YMCA in Indianapolis. Each October he would head out to Colorado with family and friends to hunt deer or elk.
He leaves behind his wife Linda of 29 years, a son; Kurtis and his wife Tina, daughter; Ronda Woodrift and her husband Kenny, step daughter; Lynn Sommers, 3 grandchildren; Luke, Brooklyn, and Bronx, 4 step grandchildren; Justin, Matt, Jessica, and Will, 2 step great grandchildren; Emily and Carolyn, a brother; Jerry D. Stansbury and his wife Karen, ad 2 nephews; Scott and Jeff.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 11:00 – 1:00 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory/Harry W. Moore, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250
